Upload progress bar not showing while uploading

I just updated NC to the latest version of Nextcloud Hub 8 (29.0.7) when I upload the file the progress bar does not show, once the file upload is complete the message appears in the top right corner successfully uploaded.

I have the same issue. I tried clean installs of 30.0.0, 29.0.7, and 29.0.6, but they all have the same issue. Only 29.0.5 and earlier versions don’t have this problem. Maybe there is a new configuration somewhere?

I have the same problem with 29.0.7.

I have the same problem. Hub 8 / 29.0.7. If I’ve seen well it happen with previous version 29.0.6. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Here is what I have found thus far. On NC 29.0.7, if I upload more than one file, I get the upload notification bar, but on NC 30.0.0 I do not when using drag and drop.

If I choose the file to be uploaded I get the upload bar, but once it shows complete the file will not show right away and if I refresh it breaks the transfer as the file wasn’t ready on the server yet (due to chunking).

Either way I have to open a new tab to see when the files are ready. What I would like to see if the drag and drop fixed for large files (I’m talking several GB) and not have the bar disappear until the files are ready on the server side.

But please only comment on it if you can provide new insights, otherwise upvote the issue with a :+1: to indicate that you are also experiencing the problem.

After update Hub 9 v.30.0.1 everything went back to normal.

With drag and drop same problem.
No progress bar
nextcloud 30.0.1

I have same issues too while using on Truenas Scale Dragonfish-24.04.2.2
No progress bar when drag and drop file (both single or multiple file), only got notified after the upload finished

App Version: 30.0.1
Chart Version: 2.0.18

ps: after run occ config:app:set files max_chunk_size --value 0 and redeploy, the progress bar correctly displayed again
