Getting help
In order to help you as efficiently (and quickly!) as possible, please fill in as much of the below requested information as you can.
Before clicking submit: Please check if your query is already addressed via the following resources:
- Official documentation (searchable and regularly updated)

Summary of the issue you are facing:
I have unfortunately neglected our Nextclient 28.0.5 server for a long time. Now I finally have time to upgrade it to a supported version. According to official Nextcloud documentation it’s not possible to skip major versions when upgrading. Thus I assume the upgrade path will look something like 28.0.5 → 28.0.14 → 29.0.16 → 30.0.16 → 31.0.9 → 32.0.0. However Upgrade to Nextcloud 29 is missing on page Release notes — Nextcloud latest Administration Manual latest documentation . Why? Does it mean I can skip upgrade to version 29 and go directly from version 28 to 30 contrary to what the documentation says?
