The issue you are facing:
Hi,
I have the nextcloud VM, Im trying to update te underlaying OS… but dont seem to be able to log into putty shell ( I have been logged in previously)
I am using the ncadmin account, with password I specified ,but I get access denied. ( I can log onto web interface with said username/password) I laso tried the defaullt ubuntu one.
Should I be able to use the ncadmin user to login to console?

*(I recently moved vm to different host, but dont think that should affect logging on)

Replying to my own queston… Got it figured out, & updated… (had to use live cd to get in & reset root password)
