Update help needed

Nextcloud version (eg, 18.0.2): 19.0.5
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 20.04):Unraid 6.8.3
Apache or nginx version (eg, Apache 2.4.25): ???
PHP version (eg, 7.1):???

The issue you are facing:
Firstly I’m pretty new to this and have zero experience with command line. I’m struggling with updating to the latest version. It gets through the whole update screen with green ticks all the way by when I click on the “Go back to you Nextcloud instance to finish the update” button I just get taken straight back to the Nextcloud desktop page and the update doesn’t run.

I know a log would probably be useful here but I’m not sure where to look and what to post.

Sorry for the lack of useful information but as I said earlier I’m very new to this and if it doesn’t work smoothly first time I get stuck.

does that mean you are using docker container?

if yes: web update doesn’t work. you have to pull a new image.

I am using a docker container but when I look at it via the unraid gui there is no update available. If I look at my Nextcloud web GUI I’m prompted to do the update to 19.0.6.

I’ve done update to nextcloud this way before without any problems but this time its got stuck.

which image / tag are you using?

do you have a menu like this:

the name of the image is in the Repository: field. you have to check.

i have no experience with the linuxserver/nextcloud image and unraid so i can’t tell you how to update.

you may find the answer in the update info chapter here

The repository is exactly as you have there linuxserver/nextcloud.

I’ll take a look around in the link you sent.
