Update from 11.0.2 to 11.0.3 fails with large HTML Code output in Errormessage

I tried to update my Nextcloud 11.0.2 to 11.0.3 via the Web Updater, but after executing the “Start Udate” Button i get a Errormessage wich seems to be HTML Code:

The Full Story:

I tried to Migrate from Owncloud 9.1.5 on Ubuntu 14.04 to NextCloud. Because Owncloud doesn’t run with php7.0 and Nextcloud needs php5.6 i installed ppa:ondrej/php, migrated from Owncloud to Nextcloud and then updated to Ubuntu 16.04.
NC seemed to be running fine now for some weeks, until today. Thats when i tried to update!

Can anyone help me?

You could check your logfiles and open a bug report.

If you want to have it up quickly and running:

  • delete all folders except data/ and config/
  • get the new code from nextcloud.com/changelog and extract in your nextcloud folder
  • set correct permissions
  • run sudo -u www-data php /var/www/nextcloud/occ upgrade
  • wait for it to run through, perhaps disable maintenance mode
  • login and activate apps
