"Upcoming Events" show no events even though my Calendar has events in it

Upcoming events does not show events/appointments from my subscribed calendars.

Yes, since upgrade to version 27 of NC.

Steps to replicate it:

When I click on Dashboard the Upcoming Events widget only shows calendar appointments created in NextCloud. It does not display the events from my subscribed calendars (Google). Before upgrading to version 27 of NextCloud all appointments/events subscribed would display.

If such problems happen after an update, please check the repository of an app, if something changes like this, you can directly report it to the developers.

This is affecting me, too. There is a manual way to downgrade to version 4.4.5 of Calendar to fix the problem (until the next upgrade): Web UI dashboard "upcoming events" widget only shows personal calendar · Issue #5563 · nextcloud/calendar · GitHub

Surprisingly this hasn’t been fixed. Any workarounds?
