The issue you are facing:
Updater shows an error saying
Check for expected files
The following extra files have been found:

nextcloud.log
Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Y/N): Y
Steps to replicate it:
- Login to Nextcloud
- Go to admin settings and Open Updater
- Start update
The output of your Nextcloud log in Admin > Logging:
Nothing related to update. Just some old (from last week) logs.
The output of your config.php file in /path/to/nextcloud
(make sure you remove any identifiable information!):
Not required.
The output of your Apache/nginx/system log in /var/log/____
:
Not required.
I deleted the nextcloud.log file which was empty anyways. But I am not sure if it is a good idea to delete the entire cache folder. I thought this folder is part of Nextcloud installation. I did not manually add it. And also whenever I retry the upload, nextcloud.log is created automatically. So I’m not sure what’s really going on here.
