Unable to connect to my Nextcloud All in One

Lost connection to nextcloud AIO

I installed Nextcloud AIO to use a data directory at /mnt/cloud/ncdata.
It was working perfectly for many weeks. /mnt/cloud is a fused drive of 4 hard drives (cloud1, cloud2, cloud3, cloud4). Somehow the fuseing failed. I was able to restore the fuseing and inspecting the contents of the drive “cloud” everything is intact and contains directories lost+found and ncdata.

I was able to open the mastercontainer by stoping and starting apache. All my containers are running as below.

However when I click on “Open your Nextcloud” it takes me to an error page as below:

The output of your config.php file in /path/to/nextcloud (make sure you remove any identifiable information!):

I have no idea where the config.php file exists in the AIO version

Any help would be appreciated. I will be happy to supply any further documentation if asked.

Hi Hansberickson,

I’ve already had this happen when I moved the main storage to another location.
I don’t know if this is your case, but if it’s any help.

To solve my problem, I went back to a full installation and added my php file for the storage before the first container startup.

Hi. The drive is correctly mounted now but not as far as nextcloud aio is concerned. Thankfully all of my data is in place on the fused drive plus i have a hard data backup exterally. Im a believer that if it doesn’t exist in three places then it doesn’t exist!.

Going forward I am rename ncdata to ncdata old. Do a fresh installation of Nextcloud AIO and before spinning up the containers ill pass all of my data to the new ncdata folder. I will post if tha was successful.

Thank you for your suggestion. I was able to solve the situation by following these steps

In my storage drive I renamed ncdata to ncdata old.
I logged stopped apache by running sudo docker stop nextcloud-aio-apache so I could enter the Nexcloud AIO interface.
I stopped all containers and exited the page.
I followed the instructions at GitHub - nextcloud/all-in-one: 📦 The official Nextcloud installation method. Provides easy deployment and maintenance with most features included in this one Nextcloud instance. on “How to properly reset the instance.”
I reinstalled Nextcloud AIO again with pointing the data directory to /mnt/cloud/ncdata
Started all the containers from the Nextcloud AIO interface and then logged into Nextcloud as admin
Added back all users and passwords as before.
Once all the Accounts and passwords were reinstated I simply used the mv command to move the accounts with data from ncdataold to ncdata.

With that everything was back to normal and frankly only took about an hour!
