Hello dear community!
I have a docker based Nextcloud installation running in the current version Nextcloud Hub 10 (31.0.4). I installed the talk app a long time ago (January 2024) and created several chats. I can easily add users or groups to these. Newly created chats in the current version no longer offer autocomplete or user/group list when adding users or groups. This means that the moderator always remains alone and it is not possible to add users. Does anyone else have this problem? Talk is in the latest version 21.0.4 - unfortunately I can’t say how long this behavior has existed, as I haven’t created any new chats for a long time. Docker Container/Stack Restart etc. has not helped.

2. try to Add new user/group…

Hey, this should work fine. Can you show a screenshot of what you’re seeing? Also doublecheck if you restricted something in the settings.

Yes, it worked fine for me the last 3 Years or so… the f1unny part is, for older chats i can add users from the system. For a new created chat i could not.

Starting Point is a new chat with my user as Moderator:

If i like to add a group (or a use, in this case i tried to add the group “Vorstand”) and type in the first letters, there is no result:

I like only to add system users or groups, not users from the contact app…
So maybe you have an idea what the issue is…

did you find a solution in the meantime?
I just found out today that I’m having the same problem on my docker based NC installation (Nextcloud Hub 25 Autumn (32.0.0), Talk 22.0.2). When starting a new conversation only one out of many available groups can be selected.

Any hints are welcome!
