The issue you are facing:
Hi All,
when executing in terminal “sudo shutdown now” it tages about 15 minutes until the system is down.
Please see the 2 attached screenshots that show the different steps when the shutdown process gets stuck for a longer time.
So the two jobs rsyslog.service
and logrotate.service
are taking very long (about 15 min) and are causing this issue.
I do not think that this long time for the shutdown is normal.
I would appreciate if someone could tell me whats the problem and how to solve it.
Thank you very much in advance.
Love Nextcloud.
Cheers
S.
I got two only.
I wonder whether it is the best fit
NC 28.0.5 Raspberry Pi OS/Debian 11 (Bullseye)
You should consider next update step
ncp-dist-upgrade
shutdown time depends on many things
would be interesting to check “shutdown” in 4443-web-interface upper right corner.

What do you mean by that?
There is no update, its the latest version for NCP.

Thats right, but in my case there are two specific jobs during shutdown process that are taking very long and are causing this issue.
Thats: Job rsyslog.service
and Job logrotate.service
Thats why I attached the two screenshots.
So the questions still remains:
Why are these two jobs taking so long and by long I mean up to 15 min.
