The issue you are facing:
I setup nextcloud on my Synology nas but i could not reset the password in the dashboard as it said the old password was incorrect. I signed out and cannot get a reset email.

Steps to replicate it:

1. Try to sign in - get incorrect user name/password error
2. Try to get a password reset email
3. Get error “cannot send reset”

The output of your Nextcloud log in Admin > Logging:

I did look at that and the bit about how to use command-line and decided it was above my head. I’ve deleted the container.
