What I want: I have 4 addressbooks for my account and I want to synchronize one but not all of them with my iPhone.
What I tried:
- I followed the instructions in the nextcloud manual and used the URL as it is documented there (example.com/remote.php/dav/principals/users/USERNAME/). As a result, all addressbooks were synchronized to my iPhone and I did not found any option to configure that only one would be synched.
- I used the specific URL for the address book I want to synch as it is provided by the contacts app (Contacts setting → adress books → context menu of the address book → copy link which is: example.com/remote.php/dav/addressbooks/users/USERNAME/ADDRESSBOOK/ ) Unfortunately it’s the same: All address books from this account will be synched to the phone.
Anybody has an idea how to solve this? With Android and DAVx5 it’s possible to select on client side, which address books should be synched.
I’m using Nextcloud Hub 8 and iOS 18.
