Having some issues using the Nextcloud client on a shared Windows 11 workstation. Multiple users log in to the machine using their individual Entra ID accounts, and each one signs in to the Nextcloud client using their own account via SSO with Entra. The idea is that they can use the same machine to work and sync with Nextcloud as needed.
The problem occurs when one user sets up sync and then leaves the workstation. After some time, they are automatically logged out of the system, which causes the Nextcloud client to stop running. When that happens, the sync stops for that user, and other users are no longer able to interact with the client. For example, they cannot pause the sync or start a new one.
Even when a user is signed in and syncing is active, other users do not seem to be able to use the client properly. It seems like the sync process is tied to the user session in a way that makes sharing the workstation difficult.
We are using the Nextcloud Desktop Client version 3.16.2.
I believe using a shared account might be a way around this issue, but would prefer to avoid that if possible. Is there a recommended way to use the Nextcloud client on a shared device with individual user sign-ins, where syncing can continue or be managed independently?
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
