Status of DICOM viewer?

This is not really a support question, but I don’t find any better fitting category.

The app “DICOM viewer” is a “featured” app but it is only compatible up to Nextcloud 31. There is already a Github issue for the compabibility issue (Support for Nextcloud 32 · Issue #148 · ayselafsar/dicomviewer · GitHub) but no response from the maintainers yet.

Since the last update of that app ways in Mai 2026 and since then no development happened, I wonder what the status of this project is. Is this still supported?

I contacted the maintainer via e-mail as well two days ago and asked, if any help is needed. But so far I did not get any response. I hope she’s well. Does any of the other project collaborators know anything?

I got a reply now. The maintainer was just very busy with her professional projects and didn’t have time to take care for an update for Nextcloud 32. But she will work on that within a month.
