Since upgrading Nextcloud client to v34 on macOS, some files don’t get synced / uploaded to the server (v34.0.1) anymore.
The filename is “verschwunden.scriv”. The Finder overlay icon is a strikethrough-cloud, tooltip says “ungeeignet” (don’t know how to set this to English). File is not uploaded. There does not seem to be a corresponding log entry on the server.
The extension “.scriv” is not part of the local client’s ignore list.
How can this be tracked down and resolved? The file should be uploaded as it used to be.
Well, even if we deem files as insulting or otherwise unfriendly, they still should be synced just as they used to with Nextcloud < v34, shouldn’t they?
Pointers on how to achieve this are still appreciated.
Are you using Scrivener? I assume it uses a package format for its documents, based on what you describe.
The thing with previous client releases and the synchronization of these kind of documents is that it used to work most of the time based on luck but that is nothing one can fully commit to as a vendor.

Yes, it would have been better to open a new thread, or even better, to search the forum, because this topic has been discussed here many times before. For example, in this thread, which also includes a workaround: Some files could not be synced: .htaccess.
