After I migrated from owncloud to nextcloud this error appeared(see title) at the top of the screen and won’t go away. Nextcloud is completly functional but the banner gets in the way and i would like to get rid of it. Here is the list of files it said failed the integrity check. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Make sure that you copied the .htaccess and .user.ini as well (often hidden files are omitted). You’ll find the current version in the archives on https://nextcloud.com/changelog

Ok, so i have to copy the files for the Newcloud or from my backup?

You mean the .htaccess? It’s the best to use the new version (everything from backup only in the case you want to revert to the pre-upgrade situation).

I guess many people are having this issue and they will fix it with the next release
