[SOLVED] Privileges for creating subdirectories and upload files

The issue you are facing:

I would like a user/group to be able to upload files into a directory, but not create subdirectories. The “can create” sharing option seems to be tied to both privileges. Is there a way to provide one privilege without the other, or isolate these privileges so I can allow file uploads without the ability to create subfolders?

I found another post in apps that fixes this issue with the File Access Control App.

Hello, i created this access rule (do not wonder, because our Users only can upload this Mime-Types) [image] This rule works fine for us, but Users cannot create new folders. The Message is “Could not create [Foldername]”. So I add this rule: “File mime type” “is not” “inode/directory” But this doesn’t work. User become the same Error-Message. What’s the Problem ?
