SOLR in Nextcloud 24?

Hi,

on this page: Nextcloud features that put you in control Nextcould writes:

Nextcloud includes a powerful full-text search engine capable of using ElasticSearch as back-end. Its flexible plugin-based interface enables search capabilities beyond files and accommodates other back-end solutions like Apache Solr.

Now - I can’t seem to find any way of configuring this - only old questions/instructions for an outdated nextant app…

In the wiki Home · nextcloud/fulltextsearch Wiki · GitHub I can only see ElasticSearch as a provider…

Any idea anybody?

thanks
Wolf

They have switched from Solr to Elasticsearch a while ago.

For fulltextsearch you will need 3 apps at least:

That page ends with a direct link to all of the related apps in the appstore:

Thanks just - I have seen this - but the “related” apps do not include - as advertised - a support for SOLR… That’s why I’m asking…

Only Elasticsearch - but I’d rather use SOLR if available…

Thanks. I had elastic working. Then did upgrade elastic. Now not working anymore. As I also have solr running for other purposes I thought it would be great to use it for nextcloud as well … why would they be advertising it, if they switched away from it???
