Shared Folder on mobile browsers (IOS, Android) no file upload possible

Nextcloud version (eg, 20.0.5): 28.01
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 20.04): Ubuntu Server 22.04

We updated the our installation from 22.x to the newest 28.01 and now, when a mobile browser opens a shared folder (with or without being logged in), the user can not start the file explorer when clicking on the “Select or drag here” button.

We create a normale folder to share files with external people, these people have no accounts. On normal Desktop PC´s with any browser we tested, no problem.

There are no 404´s in any log or any hints.

Nextcloud.log does nothing when I open the shared folder.

There were a few different bugs that come to mind which may be the source of your situation (which are fixed in v28.0.2… if you can wait a few more days - or want to install the release candidate now).

It’s likely related to these if this arose in v28 specifically.

I thought of that too, it should be released in January 2024 I´ve read, so we could wait a few days. If it was working in V27, I can´t tell, because this version was installed for maybe 5 minutes.

We also have trouble with LDAP (Active Directory) but this is secondary now, maybe it was solved in 28.0.2 too.

Update to the problem: I can´t even Login now on a mobile client Web UI. Tested with Samsung Browser, Chrome, Brave, Firefox, Safari.

I have no loginbox anymore, the loginbox is not showing up now. I deleted all caches, restarted the server, no luck.

Yes, since users can´t even login, this ticket is pretty much useless.

Problem solved, it was the firewall, check the other thread from above.
