Nextcloud version: 18.03
Operating system and version: Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS ( Linux 4.15.0-91-generic )
Apache or nginx version: nginx/1.17.10
PHP version: PHP 7.4.5
I often like to beta test future versions of Nextcloud. With 18.04 just around the corner I thought it would be great to give it a spin. I see 18.0.4 RC2 is tracking for release in a few days.
However, when I update my Update Channel to “Beta” the suggested update is for 19.0.0 Beta 4. I’m not quite ready to give 19 a spin but happy to test out 18.04.
I believe everything is working as expected with the channels but want to know if there a way to pin the beta release (or add a new channel) for these minor releases? Alternatively I could do a manual upgrade but would like to avoid that.
Steps to replicate it:
- Install Nextcloud 18.03 and select “Beta” channel
- Upon refresh notice that 19 is suggested as the beta update not 18.04
