Segfault when upgrading from @ijurisic 's NC 21

I just upgraded to nextcloud-server 21 from @ijurisic 's debian repo, and I am in trouble right now:

Got unexpect answer, occ status can't to read satus of nextcloud. Check php installation.
Press Return to continue, 'q' followed by Return to quit.

Now when I run occ --help by hand it quickly grows to 40GB using 100% CPU and segfaults because of OOM.

Does anyone have a hint to quickly resolve this ?

For now I have downgraded back to 20.0.8 and it works well. But I’m wary of trying an upgrade again, if someone knows what’s the problem is I’d be glad to learn how to workaround it.
