[S3 as Primary Storage] High cost due to bandwidth

Nextcloud version : 28.0.2
Operating system and version : Linux 5.15.0-88-generic x86_64 (docker container)
PHP version (eg, 7.4): 8.2.15

Hello guys,

I’m currently using a Scaleway S3 Bucket as primary storage for my Nextcloud instance.
Everything works well but since last month I experiment high bandwith usage (from 30GB/month to 3300GB/month) and so, obviously, high costs.
Do you know in which case that could happened ? Of course, my nextcloud instance had a casual activity during this period.

Do you have any clue ?

Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Y/N): Y

Hey, sounds like better users cycle by ArtificialOwl · Pull Request #42667 · nextcloud/server · GitHub and should be fixed with 28.0.2

Hey,
Thanks for your quick answer !
Fine, I keep my instance in observation to see if the amount of bandwith is going down to its normal state.
I’ll let you know.

Best regards,
