RPI4 installation

How do I install Next Cloud Pi, or is there a better version? and how do I run it? I saw how to activate and stuff on How to access NextcloudPi first time & Activation but says nothing about installation. I want to run it on a sd card but use the storage of my SSD.

hey @alfonsop123 and welcome to the wonderful world of the NC-communityforum.

Afaik you need to “burn” the .img-file to your sd-card and then just spin it up.

I don’t really know how to do that…

is it like to have the rpi4 run only next cloud pi? I have other stuff running on it too

errr… I dunno if that’s supported… so best would be to wait for some ncp-guys to chime in here.

Yes, that is the use case of ncp.
You may take a look at DietPi.

What would dietpi be for? So nextcloud is like an os right since it’s the only thing running

Come on, don’t be so lazy, you got a link, do some reading.
And just do it for nextcloud, nextcloudpi, debian and armbian. You must read to have a chance to get some understanding of setting up and running server software.
