check if it’s right. (from you router)
you could try pinging it or using nmap -Pn -p- ip_address
to see if it responds somewhere (it’s going to take a loooooong time)

Hello!
changed my admin password with ncp-config but cannot login to the web interface with this password.
how can i change it?
thx martin
Which password? NC or NCP
Use ncp-config or ncp-web >CONFIG>
-
nc-admin : Change the current password for the Nextcloud admin user
-
nc-passwd : Change password for the NextCloudPi Panel (https://IP:4443)
hey!
thank you for your help.
do I understand this right?
- nc-passwd is used to log in https://myIP:4443 this is the main nexcloud pi panel with user “ncp”?
because i changed it already with success and it wont let me in.
thx
Correct.
Maybe you used one of the not allowed special characters? At least single and double quotes are not accepted for nc-passwd it seems. https://docs.nextcloudpi.com/en/faq/
Oh ok.
I did not have special characters in my password but I will try a easy one
Thank you
EDIT: this is not working for me. used easy password with high letters and numbers
