Reset admin password after cPanel move

Hi,
I have NC set up on some shared hosting. They recently move servers and upgraded cPanel. Now when I try to log in it doesn’t recognise my password. This has happened for all passwords in the account, including webmail.
I’ve tried to use the ‘forgot password’ link but I get the message:

Couldn’t send reset email. Please contact your administrator.

I get the same message whether I use the username or an email address - presumably it can’t send email because the settings have updated.

Is there a way for me to log in through cPanel and edit a file so that I can set a new admin password? I may be able to SSH in to the hosting, but won’t have sudo access.
Thanks.

Sudo may not be necessary. It depends entirely on how your web hosting is setup. The important part is that you are logged in (or sudo’d) to the OS account that owns your Nextcloud installation files.

Thanks. I haven’t had any luck with this, it seems that the commands I’m using aren’t enabled on my hosting. I’m going to ask the hosting provider for support. Hopefully they can run them.
