I have rebranded Nextcloud using theme app (Brand name, colors, logo, background picture etc). it works perfect. When i clicked on overview it shows me Nextcloud version as shown in attached picture. i want change to my brand name. like The Safe Cloud 10 (31.0.1). is it possible?
My requirement is nowhere should nextcloud appear on frontend, is there other places where we need to change it and how ?
Yes, for example, on the user profile page there are links to Nextcloud resources and then there are probably other places that I can’t think of right now that directly or indirectly refer to Nextcloud.
There are no configuration options to completely hide the fact that your ‘The Safe Cloud’ is based on Nextcloud, if that’s what you’re trying to achieve, but I suppose if you know HTML, CSS and JS you could develop your own theme, or even a completlely new frontend.
But honestly, why would you want to do that? I mean, I understand that you want to use your own branding, but why should no one be able to see that your service is based on Nextcloud? Why not at least give some credit to the people who developed the software you’re using for free to provide your own service?
