RC2s of 27.0.1, 26.0.4 and 25.0.9

Maintenance releases of 27.0.1, 26.0.4 and 25.0.9 are coming next Thursday and follow-up RCs for those are now available on our download server.

As always, help with testing is very much welcome!

We updated our servers, did our tests, and the release candidates seem pretty decent. Still, give it a whirl and report back here so we’re even more sure that it’s good to go! If you notice anything out of order, please report back on the appropriate github repository! :bowing_woman:

Deleted files for me is empty on web view. 27 plus the new RC2. iOS properly displays them.

Noticed notify_push wasnt running. Perhaps that’s it. Seems ok at least when trying from mobile

I just updated to 27.0.1 RC2 on my test system. I use notify_push for the deck app, and it seems to be working.

Currently stuck in a loop, I disable maintenance mode in the config.php attempt to reinstall with same issue as above

!!!UPDATE!!! - FIXED!!! 1:11pm Australian Western Standard Time

Ran the following for my setup might be different for others
It couldn’t update groupfolders and notes
sudo -u www-data php occ app:list
sudo -u www-data php occ app:disable groupfolders
sudo -u www-data php occ app:disable notes

sudo -u www-data php8.1 updater/updater.phar --no-interaction
sudo -u www-data php8.1 /var/www/nextcloud/occ upgrade

Running this cmd above presented issues with the apps as listed above.

sudo -u www-data php8.1 /var/www/nextcloud/occ db:add-missing-indices
sudo -u www-data php8.1 /var/www/nextcloud/occ db:convert-filecache-bigint

cd /var/www/nextcloud/config nano config.php and changed maintenance mode to false

All worked again

which issues exactly?

I want to find where the logs are stored for NextCloud in Ubuntu 22.04 LTS - It seemed that 2 apps couldn’t be updated even though they were at the latest patch level.

Groupfolders was updated to 15.01 but the software reported 15.00 and notes was the same couldn’t update the apps. Disabling them still wasn’t good enough I ended up removing them and the update proceeded smoothly.

Logs are usually in the nextcloud data directory unless you have configured something else.

The buttons on the Users tab overlap. Version 27.0.1

I got fixed via a hard refresh of the page (Shift+F5 or Shift+Refresh button).

I removed that line and BAM!! installed / updated / enabled those disabled apps - what the he’ll
