RC1s of 30.0.4 and 28.0.14

The expected hot fixes Nextcloud 30.0.4 and 28.0.14 are coming next Thursday and RCs for those are now available on our download server.

As always, help with testing is very much welcome!

We updated our servers, did our tests, and the release candidates seem pretty decent. Still, give it a whirl and report back here so we’re even more sure that it’s good to go! If you notice anything out of order, please report back on the appropriate Github repository!

FWIW, the matrix as of right now seems to say the 12th in the plain (old) table section and January 9 in the new graphical-ish colorful timeline section.

I’m the happy one, firefox doesn’t show me rich display, yes it is colourful but uneditet, take the tables.

I could not create a share-link (manually). Sending the link per mail is working (like before). → Failed to create share

Did you try a hard browser refresh, or double checked it in a private window? To figure out whether this might be a browser cache issue.

Hi,
I tried it now with a different browser, same problem. Additionally the service notify push wont work. I am on investigation

edit:
service notify push is solved. Permission problem on file. But the share problem still exists in 3 browser (Chrome, Edge and Firefox) from internal and external.

Please can you share more information about setup? Specifically what is the configuration on the admin sharing page.

A screenshot of the section showing whether passwords or expiration dates are enforced would help.

Upgrade from 30.0.3 to 30.0.4 RC1 auto enable notification by email in “Sharing” the last one voice.
Before upgrade is disabled, on 30.0.4RC1 set enabled.

Please note… the default in activities is disabled.

Hi,

here is the asked screenshot.

Additionl information (may interesting ) I have 30.0.3 and installed 30.0.4 and get this problem
In 30.0.3, when I will share I could click on share link and it seems that everything is ok, but when I click anywhere, the link will be hidden/lost/disappear.
