I have a directory which I shared with other people for team work. I’d like to prevent them from editing a file inside that directory but I can’t, I’m not using an administrative group, I just shared the files with their email addresses. Is there a way I could do this without using the administrative groups?
You can share directorys/files with read-only. But i think you can not mix it. But you can use different directorys/files, some read-only and some edit.
Permissions are determined by the share used to access the file/folder. About the only wrench you can throw into that is the File Access Control app.
