I’ve seen a blog with a detailed decription how to turn a folder into public folder á la Dropbox in Nextcloud. Does someone know this blog or could say how to make this? I believe it were just two additional rewriter rows in .htaccess file.

This is the pity, I’ve seen a blog somewhere and used it a while but lost the bookmark. Basically this was an additionally row in .htaccess file á la Dropbox Public Folders: https://domain.de/u/username/path/file.ext
