Proxmox Ova install setup fail: curl: (6) Could not resolve host: github.com

I’ve managed to get the install process started from an ova imported into Proxmox (VM version) and the appliance starts up fine, I have three other appliances running without issues, but when I begin the startup script for NextCloud, I see the following:

NextCloud Error Message
NextCloud Error Message949×641

I don’t know where to begin with this one. I’ve looked through these forums and googled it to no avail. I’m running Proxmox VE 6.3.2 and have downloaded the latest NextCloud as of Jan 2, 2021.

And my internet connection is working fine for everything else on the network.

Somehow it looks as if your vm can’t connect to the internet. Which would be no problem of NC but of your setup…

Yup, turned out the default settings from the OVA didn’t include a network interface when it created the VM. Cheers for that!
