Possible to sync Nextcloud folder with folder on network drive

Most of our documents at work our stored on a Windows network drive. We like to use next cloud to easier access some of the documents. Of course, we don’t want to have a separate copy of a document on the network drive AND on Next cloud.

I understand how I can sync a local folder with a folder in the Next cloud, but I can’t wrap my head around how to do the same for a folder on a network drive.

How do I sync a folder on the network drive and a next cloud folder?

You can mount the network drive as storage on the Nextcloud server. It will be availible as a folder in the server root, and can then be handled (almost) like any folder on the server.

Check the external storage app and see if it suits your needs. There might be limitations for your application
