I have a Linux machine running Pop!_OS with the beta version of Cosmic DE. On the same machine, I also have the default Gnome DE. Nextcloud Desktop is working perfectly (with the colored icons) in Gnome, but not in Cosmic. In Cosmic it only shows a gray checkmark, and Nextcloud Desktop fails to synchronize behind the scenes.
I can change settings for Nextcloud Desktop, but I cannot get it to sync or the colored icons to appear. I realize Cosmic is beta software at this point and everything might change when it is finally released, but I’d like to experiment to see if I can fix it. Any ideas are welcome.

### Bug description
I'm using Pop!_OS with Cosmic for the desktop environment. Nextcloud desktop works as expected in Gnome, but when I use Cosmic, the green status is not there on the icon, even though monochrome icons is not checked in the settings.
### Steps to reproduce
Install Cosmic desktop environment on Pop!_OS and set up the Nextcloud Desktop software. Notice that regardless of whether you want a color icon or grayscale, they are always grayscale.
### Expected behavior
It should be green to show me that the files are synchronized. Instead, it just stays gray.

I don’t know if you have tried the latest version.
In case this is something more specific for Cosmic and Pop!_OS, it’s probably hard to find experts here …
