The issue you are facing:
When installing the polls app, The button to create polls doesn’t appear on any account. Nor admin or user. Does anyone know why this is happening?
Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Y/N): Y
Steps to replicate it:
- Install the Polls app.
- Navigate to the menu
The output of your Nextcloud log in Admin > Logging:

your installation won’t work well at all…
Why?
just because NC 28x doesn’t run with php 7.4 anymore. Last version running with PHP7.4 was NC25 I guess.
So please upgrade your PHP first (to 8.2 which is recommended for NC28) and then see if the error still exists. I’m pretty sure you can install this app (and others) afterwards
My apologies, I made a mistake. I’m not using 7.4 It’s running PHP_VERSION 8.1.27

The button for new polls above “Recent” is missing. Do you use an ad blocker? Can you test with another browser and/or pc? Also you can use browser dev tool F12 for more details.
I’ve tried with a separate browser, separate PC. I’ve turned of my add blocker. What would you need from the DevTools, I’ll go grab them for you now ^^
