Photos App - Sort pictures by date taken?

Is there a way to sort pictures in the Photo App after date taken, and not date modified as it seems to use now?

As it stands now, it’s pretty useless, since it doesn’t show when the picture is actually taken.
For example; if I alter the metadata in a picture from 2010, that picture will now show up on top of my photos list as it was taken in November 2022, which of course it isn’t.

That is not the right way to sort pictures IMO

Hope there is a solution for this.
