Photos app shows empty page

apps/photos loads just the top menu with icons, no photos are seen, on empty thumbnails, just the blue background color.
There is no error or any feedback to be found from the app, any help is much appreciated. (Claude couldn’t fix it for me).

The Basics

  • Nextcloud Server version (e.g., 29.x.x):
    • nextcloud aio 32.06
  • Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 24.04):
    • ubuntu 22.04
  • Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Yes / No):
    • yes
  • When did this problem seem to first start?
    • just now? today? don't look at photos always.
  • Installation method (e.g. AlO, NCP, Bare Metal/Archive, etc.)
    • aio
  • Are you using CloudfIare, mod_security, or similar? (Yes / No)
    • no

Summary of the issue you are facing:

apps/photos shows nothing, does not load the app

Steps to replicate it (hint: details matter!):

  1. go to apps/photos

Log entries

There are no entries in logs. I disabled and reanabled the app. I cleared my browser. I ran maintenance:repair and maintenance:data-fingerprint.

The photos are loading in the files app in the web interface. Also quite fast, previews are working. Also, since the entire app does not load, previews are not the most likely issue I would think.

Nextcloud

There is nothing in thel logs, but here is the last entry

Web Browser

There is nothing in console, I deleted all data from the browser, did not help. There are no errors, no empty js files or anything like that.
