Which general topic do you have
I have around 31,000 photos in Nextcloud and was never realistically going to sort them. So I built something that shows me one photo at a time, month by month, and lets me keep or delete each one with a swipe.
The part I cared most about getting right: nothing is deleted while you are swiping. Verdicts are held as a pending list, and there is one review screen that is the only thing in the app that touches your files. In trash mode deletions go to your Nextcloud trash, so your retention policy still applies β and the app tells you which mode you are in rather than assuming you know.
It indexes by the date a photo was taken, using the Photos appβs extracted EXIF when it is there and falling back to filename and mtime when it is not, so it works on an install that has never run the Photos app.
There is an Android client too, which talks to the same API, so verdicts sync both ways. It is AGPL, and it is on the app store as photosweep.
Requires Nextcloud 31β34. Happy to hear what breaks.
