Photo App (Android) does not backup new photos or Camera directory

I just installed Phone for Android.

I can’t figure out how to get my phone’s camera output to be shown and uploaded from Photo.
I tried going to “Collections” then “Import Folders” - I think the first time I did this some folders were shown, but now when I repeat this, the bar at the top swishes across the screen for 2 seconds, then no options are shown. I think this is broken. I also reinstalled the app to try this again, and that didn’t help.
I do have 2 collections showing in the collections tab. However, “Camera” is not one of them.

You are missing the required support template. Please fill this form out and edit into your post. You can also run ncp-report to get this info from NextcloudPi.

  • What kind of system are you running NextcloudPi on?
  • Check your directory setup within the Android Photos app, perhaps with a screenshot or something to confirm how you’ve set it up.
  • Are you using the Nextcloud Android client to manually upload each directory? Or, the webui?
    • Or, have you setup automatic photo uploads from your photos directory using this app?
