Summary of the issue you are facing:
My logs fill up with richdocument ConnectException cURL timeout ~5000ms - when investigating the logs the error is specifically linked to large pdf files (it seems > ~50MB) for which a preview is failing.
Steps to replicate it (hint: details matter!):
- upload a large pdf
- log on webinterface and open file browser / open Nextcloud app
- log will show one more entry of richdocument failing - they always appear in groups of the same number as the files on the server.

you’re right. What I meant is that even with the line included (which should prohibit Nextcloud trying to generate a preview for larger files), I continue to have the same number of errors in the logs: aka it continues to try and run the job somehow…
