Passwort App weg nach update auf Hub10

Ich habe auf Hub 10 geupdatet. Dann war die passwort app weg oben in der Leiste. Habe die wieder installiert. Komme aber nicht drauf. Bin jetzt mal total aufgeschmissen ohne Passwörter

Vor einem Update solltest Du immer erst prüfen, ob die von Dir verwendeten Apps auch für die zu installierende Nextcloud-Version zur Verfügung stehen. Dies ist bei der Passwords-App derzeit definitiv nicht der Fall:

Ich empfehle daher die Passwords-App zu deaktivieren, den Server wieder ans Laufen zu bringen und dann gegebenenfalls zu versuchen den “nightly-build” der Passwords-App zu installieren.

Ok hätte ich das mal vorher gewusst das ich das prüfen muss. Dann warte ich jetzt ab bis die App wieder verfügbar ist. Hab keine Lust mich damit zu beschäftigen wie ich das manuell installiere. Nachher zerschieße ich noch mehr. Danke für deine Hilfe

Falls du ein Backup (Daten und Datenbank) deiner Nextcloud hast, könntest du die alte Version auf einem Testserver wieder temporär hochziehen und hättest dann vielleicht Zugriff zu den Passwörtern.

Ich habe das update über die webgui gemacht. habe da gesehen das ein Schritt dabei war wo ein backup gemacht wurde. Gibt bei nc die Möglichkeit ein restore zu machen ? bzw einfach wieder auf die alte Version ?

Das dort erstellte Backup dient wohl nur dazu im Fehlerfall während des Updates ein wenig rückgängig machen zu können. So enthält der Backup-Order /path/to/nextcloud/data/updater-***/backups/nextcloud-*** nicht den Ordner /path/to/backup/nextcloud/data. Ein Datenbank-Dump wird auch nicht erzeugt.

Bei einem normalen Backup werden die Daten und die Datenbank gesichert. Nur wenn diese vorliegen, wirst du sie nutzen können.

Falls du ein Testsystem hast: Du könntest ein Backup deiner Datenbank von Nextcloud 31 machen. Dann könntest du auf dem Testsystem Nextcloud 30 inkl. der App Passwords installieren und ein Restore der Datenbank von Nextcloud 31 versuchen. Vielleicht wird vieles nicht gehen. Aber vielleicht funktioniert die Password-App.

Wichtig. Zerstöre nicht dein Nextcloud 31. Nutze ein Testsystem. Der Aufwand mag hoch und vielleicht umsonst sein. Du kannst damit aber viel lernen.

Ein Update für die App für NC 31 ist seit gestern Abend verfügbar.
