Passwords - second security layer (for a specifc folder)

Hi @ passwords-app developer,

I started using passswords app as convenience cause i had my passwords everywhere,
but now i want extend the usage a little bit and so i wonder if there is the possiblity to add
another or mor layers of security.
Like authenticating with another password again and/or needing two factor authentification.

I think it is a great app and i want to include this level of usage.

Just that if i have my normal nextcloud password in browser stored i can be sure that for that passwords-app
and/or specific passwords are still not accessable.

Since the repository is not open (at least i did not find a way to post a feature request) and do it here.

Thanks for considering it.

You can enable End-to-End Encryption which will require a passphrase before accessing any passwords.

By installing the Passwords Handbook you can also overwrite a feature switch to enable Nextcloud 2FA additionally to the End-to-End Encryption.

Are we talking about this repo GitHub · Where software is built ?

Hi @mdw ,
Thanks for the quick reply. I really did not think that Enabling End to End Encyption means that. Of coarse now obviously it meant that and yes that whats i was looking for.

Hi @christianlupus ,

No, i meant nextcloud / passwords · GitLab since its the linked repository on Passwords - Apps - App Store - Nextcloud and i did not know about the other one ( GitHub · Where software is built )

Thanks for pointing it to me.
