Password reset with encryption

Hello Everyone,

i am currently experiencing a strange issue on my nextcloud instance.
I would like to reset the password of a certain user using the admin interface.

But i always get the error message “Can not decrypt the recovery key. Maybe you provided the wrong password. Try again.”

I also tried to use the occ command with the same result.

I dont’t have the recovery keys enabled, but the master key (private and public are both correct in the filesystem).
Now the strange part: the password reset using the mail flow is working perfectly fine, only in the admin interface (i also tried to create a new user).

Version: 31.0.2
Encryption: Serverside (default module)

So my question is if there is anyone who is experiencing a similar issue or if there is already a bugfix (which i could not find in the github repo)

Experiencing the same thing. I’ve got Server Side Encryption on my local NextCloud storage and am encountering the same issue trying to reset one of my users’ passwords.
