I canÂŽt find the config file on Mac OS X 10.13.3

In the doc I found this path:
$HOME/Library/Preferences/Nextcloud/nextcloud.cfg

but there is not any nextcloud file

As this is the most prominent google result I’ll give an answer even if the original author probably resolved it already.

If it’s not in $HOME/Library/Preferences/Nextcloud, it’s probably in $HOME/Library/Application Support/Nextcloud

I’ve got two Mac systems and one uses the first and one the latter path, so this is very confusing indeed.

I found no folder “Nextcloud” in
$HOME/Library/Preferences/Nextcloud
or in
$HOME/Library/Application Support/Nextcloud

Is it changed?

did you ever find it? I also do not have a nextcloud file/folder in either location. I do have ‘show hidden files’ on.
