Summary of the issue you are facing:
Is there a way to open an enclosing folder from search results?
I often find myself searching for a document solely to actually find my way to a particular subfolder, expecting there to be a “right click, open enclosing folder” option, or something like that.
It would also be fine if I could turn on a column which shows the folder path for each file.
I suspect something like this exists and I’m just not finding it, which is why I’m posting this into help rather than feature requests.
Steps to replicate it (hint: details matter!):
- Search for a file
- Try to open the folder which one of the search results items is from
System info (will fill in later if requested)
