Onlyoffice partially loads - interface is grayed out

I recently had an issue opening word documents so i opted to getting the latest docker version of onlyoffice. Nextcloud settings save successfully and the service looks operational. The example app also works

The problem is that when i click to open a related file within nextcloud - the interface partially loads as seen in the image problem-interface-is-grayed

I do not see any js error nor - errors in the servers’ logs
Any ideas would be highly welcome

as it seem it was relevant to the http and the https. i was rewriting traffic replacing any instance of http with https using a man in the middle approach and the replacement was replacing https instances making them httpss.
