OJSXC and public Jabber Servers

hi,

I want to use OJSXC wwith a public jabber server, similar the mail client in nextcoud.
Of course there is now a different password for security reasons.

As I found out, there is no obvious field to set one.

Is that just not working, or did I miss something?

Just set the server type to external and add your domain and bosh url, but you have to make sure, that the user ids have to match. Nextcloud user klaus should be using klaus@yourxmppservice.
