.ocdata is missing but when I look there is one?

Hi there,

Maybe this was very stupid of me but I need some help to solve this. A while ago someone came to me with a laptop with files which needed to be recovered. So I did and placed them on my nextcloud.

Now the owner of those files want them back. Because of the limited time I accessed the data folder directly by changing the permissions. But when I put the permission back as the were, I got this:

Data directory (/mnt/cloud) is invalid

Please check that the data directory contains a file ".ocdata" in its root.

I looked up the file and it is there but the NC installation seems to… not see it…

Can someone help me please?

system:
ubuntu 16.04 LTS 64-bit
Nextcloud 11.0.3

Ok, strange… It somehow resolved it self… I do not know what happened there but it is solved…

Thank you
