we are currently testing Nextcloud, specifically the Talk app, in our company. At the moment, 12 employees are participating in this test.
Unfortunately, only a few, if any, receive notifications for incoming calls or messages in the Nextcloud Talk desktop app. The behavior is similar when using the browser extension or in the browser itself. Before we discontinue the test, I wanted to ask here if there is a solution to this issue.
We are using Nextcloud AIO. The containers are up to date, meaning we are running AIO 10.7.0.
The desktop app was updated to version 1.1.5 for all users last week.
The following settings are enabled in Talk:
- Chat notifications: Always
- Call notifications: When not in “Do not disturb” mode
- Pop-up: Always
Additionally, notifications are also enabled on a second speaker.
All push notifications are allowed in the browser.
Where else can we look for the cause of the insufficient notifications?
