Support intro

Sorry to hear you’re facing problems. :slightly_frowning_face:

The community help forum (help.nextcloud.com) is for home and non-enterprise users. Support is provided by other community members on a best effort / “as available” basis. All of those responding are volunteering their time to help you.

If you’re using Nextcloud in a business/critical setting, paid and SLA-based support services can be accessed via portal.nextcloud.com where Nextcloud engineers can help ensure your business keeps running smoothly.

Getting help

In order to help you as efficiently (and quickly!) as possible, please fill in as much of the below requested information as you can.

Before clicking submit: Please check if your query is already addressed via the following resources:

(Utilizing these existing resources is typically faster. It also helps reduce the load on our generous volunteers while elevating the signal to noise ratio of the forums otherwise arising from the same queries being posted repeatedly).

When I go to the Notes page on https://my-nc.example.org/apps/notes/ I get redirected to /apps/notes/note/2452 but I see only an empty page: the background image and menu, but no notes list or notes editor. When I reload the page with ctrl+R, the note is displayed as expected.

When I click the top left arrow pointing to the left, I get my notes list, as expected.

When I click the menu bar notes icon again, I get back to the blank Notes page. The Firefox console shows errors, but I’m not a frontend developer and don’t know if these are important here:

I am not sure if this started with the last AIO container update to Nextcloud Hub 26 Winter (33.0.8) or when updating Firefox (to 155.0.1).

I checked /var/www/html/data/nextcloud.log but nothing stands out to me.

I cannot run occ as it doesn’t find the php executable; find / -name php comes back empty besides /root: Permission denied and similar ones for /proc. So here is config.php:

How can I debug and fix this?

Please confirm in a different browser.

This looks like a CSP problem. Anything in front of your server like a reverse proxy, CloudFlare, etc.?

Thanks, jtr!

I access nextcloud by name, which my local pihole (in its own container, not bundled with nextcloud) resolves to its local IP address (192.168.1.100); no proxy or such.

Firefox 154.0-1 works on Linux, 155.0.1-1 does not work on Linux. Chromium 152.0.7977.64 (Official Build) snap (x86_64) works as well on Linux. Firefox 1.55.0.1 works on macos. I switched various extensions and settings around, but nothing helped. Weirdly enough I sync browser settings between Linux and macos, so I’d expect to see the same behavior.

Not happy about this, but the workaround of reloading the page will have to do.
