since I´ve installed Nextcloud (9.0.50) I haven´t received any updates via the nextcloud updater. When will an update be available?

Have you checked your config for the line:
'updater.server.url' => 'https://updates.nextcloud.org/updater_server/',

Yes, this line is part of my config.php
We’re working on a new updater app which should be more reliable than the existing one. Once that is done we’ll post instructions on how to get it and updates should become less of a pain… I expect it’ll take a week, maybe two. You’ll hear more!
Until then, sorry - you have to upgrade manually.
